SUGAR LAND, Texas — June 18, 2026 — Deltacon Global Inc., doing business as Deltacon Security, announces its certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), effective June 16, 2026, through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Veteran Small Business Certification program, known as VetCert.
The certification represents an important milestone for Deltacon’s founder and its veteran-led organization, extending a commitment to service into new opportunities to support government agencies, commercial clients, and contracting partners.
SBA certification involves a rigorous, documentation-based review of qualifying veteran status, service-connected disability, business size, ownership, and actual management control. Eligibility requires at least 51% ownership and control by one or more service-disabled veterans, documented qualifying service-connected disability, veteran leadership of daily operations and long-term decisions, and registration as a small business in SAM.gov.
SBA administers the official certification through its online certification portal. Certification is required for eligibility for federal contracts specifically set aside for SDVOSBs and applicable SDVOSB sole-source awards, subject to procurement requirements.

Federal contracting: Eligibility to compete for SDVOSB set-asides and qualifying sole-source awards, supporting the federal government’s annual goal of awarding at least 5% of contracting dollars to SDVOSBs.
